Block Parties are fun for kids and adults. There are endless things to do. Here our some of our favorite block party games and activities
Face Painting and Temporary Tatoo's- Kids love face painting. You don't need to be an artist to make a few stars or a rainbow on the cheek of a young one.
Sand Art is not only fun and crafty, but it could be hours of entertainment and the kids get to take home thier creative works of art. All you need is some bottles, corks or caps, colored sand, a few funnels, and some throw away tins from the supermarket. Let the kids put layer and layer of colored sand until the bottle is full. Cork and you have a great activity
What is more fun on a hot day than getting soaking wet with friends at a block party? It doesn't matter if it is water ballons or cheap water guns, this is another activity that will keep young and old entertained. Great kids game...
Spin Art is another fun block party activity that is creative and gives the kids something to take home. There are tons of spin art kits out in the market. This is a safe activity that parents and kids can enjoy together.
I don't see much of this anymore, but I sure remember doing it when I was young. What a cheap block party activity this is. For a few bucks you get a few sticks of chalk and lets the kids draw all over the street. If you are lucky it will last for a few days and be gone when it rains.

Cornhole is a game that has gotten VERY popular recenlty, so popular that there are league. This game involves 2 teams some bean bags (filled with what else. Corn) and two wood structures with holes cut out. You stand on opposite sides of the yard and try to get you bean bag in the oppoisite teams hole. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a player reaches the score of 21. The first time I saw this I said no way, sounds dumb. Let me tell you it is loads of fun.

Cornhole es un juego que se ha hecho popular muy recenlty, tan popular que hay liga. Este juego consiste en 2 equipos de unas bolsas de frijoles (lleno de lo demás. Maíz) y dos estructuras de madera con agujeros a cabo. Ustedes están en lados opuestos del patio y tratar de conseguir que la bolsa de frijoles en el agujero oppoisite equipos. Una bolsa de maíz en el agujero de las puntuaciones de 3 puntos, mientras que uno en las puntuaciones de la plataforma 1 punto. El juego continúa hasta que un jugador alcanza la puntuación de 21. La primera vez que vi esto me dijo que de ninguna manera, suena tonto. Permítame decirle que es muy divertido.
